העברית אוטוטו 🙂
Alive and growing,
fluidly enveloping
without and within,
harshing or gentling
anything and everything.
Freed – they caress,
locked – they oppress,
thought – they express
whatever, anywhere –
crossing time and space.
Both the imaginable
and the unthinkable
bow before the
Words breathing
them to life
L
dVerse's prompt this time was verbs (don't know that I hit the mark…).
i love how words can breathe things to live… they're so powerful and should never be locked away…

Yes. Words have a lot of power.
I don't know if they should or shouldn't be locked, I just know they sometimes are…
אהבתיאהבתי
in the beginning was the word….
nice
אהבתיאהבתי
Exactly.
Glad you liked it 🙂
אהבתיאהבתי
Oh those words that have such wonderful ability to install all those wonderful….
אהבתיאהבתי
I can't even begin to imagine a world without them… they really are wonderful 🙂
אהבתיאהבתי
A beautiful incarnation.

Thank you for visiting my other blog. I just wanted to let you know, you didn't get notice of it because it not a wordpress blog. It's an earlier blog I did on blogger (and that site doesn't do the notifications like wordpress). I haven't yet decided if I will keep both going separately or try to combine them or drop the older one. And, I realize I'm leaving this comment in the wrong spot, but hopefully it will make sense. Anyway, thank you for reading and commenting.

It was my pleasure 🙂 And if my two cents have any value, here they are: a couple of years ago I also kept two blogs and I found it almost split my personality, in deciding what to post where (and I'm only half smiling about it. After all, a blogger's name is a persona of sorts). So I'd advise centralizing. But of course, that's just my opinion, not obliging any other than me
Not to mention it is a bit selfish of me, being on my way to hit the follow button myself, something I don't know yet how to do on blogger… (though I'd imagine there has to be a way)
🙂

Thank you for you input. That really helps. Thank you. It makes sense. How long did you have your first blog when you went to just one? Did the people who followed you switch to you other blog? Did you lose many? Lol, that's one of the things I worry about. (Which is silly, I know, but…)

My (then) two blogs are gone now but when they were, they were separate from each other. Different names, looks, aims and readers (none of which were aware of the other blog). So the readers weren't a question for me. But I can totally understand you. What I have seen others do is post to the one blog a "hey-I've-moved" post with the link to the main/new blog, which helps readers come along (don't know how effective though). Hope this helps too, always glad to
🙂

Thanks again. It's odd how we (or maybe I should say I) get caught up with numbers of followers. There are probably lots of people on my old blog who are listed as "followers" who haven't looked at my blog for years.
Thank you again for the suggestion. I'll probably end up doing that.

Say "we" by all means 🙂 It's only natural. We wouldn't have a blog if just writing was the whole "it" for us. The readers, I think, are why we brave sending our words out there. What happened with me was that at one blog the readers totally disappointed me and on the other, I ended up with just three of them, one of which followed me here
🙂

great power in words… I think you nailed this prompt. Ricvh use of verbs here

Thank you so much 🙂
Although I've been writing for a while, translating it to English is still very new to me. I'm sometimes unsure whether it has the same feel to it

I loved the rhymes in the second stanza

Thank you 🙂 Glad you liked it

I think you hit it just fine. I like that you worked the poem with words. And I enjoyed trying to read the Hebrew that I studied a few years ago. :0)
אהבתיאהבתי
Thank you 🙂 Knowing Hebrew than you also know how it differers from English, which is one of the reasons I can at times be a bit diffident… So happy you enjoyed your visit

I think you hit the mark perfectly. My favorite verbs/verses are
Freed – they caress,
locked – they oppress,
Peace, Linda thought – they express

Thank you 🙂 Very glad you enjoyed your visit

Smiles, am sure you make the mark – very clever use of verbs and the whole piece is interesting too – and must admit that your theme caught my attention, why do you use this one? Just curious.

Thank you 🙂 But I'm afraid the story behind my name is rather boring: L is a heritage from a previous blog, where I got used to thinking of it as short for the French word "elle", which means "she". The Word Weaving part is the realization from that blog – that that's what I do when blogging. Told you – boring, but at least it was short
