Vertigo and Claustro-Sensitivity

What this is is a view from a clear and empty elevator shaft (can't remember whether off the seventh or ninth floor).
The reasons this is Against The Odds are that (a) I really don't like either looking down from or even being at any height, nor (b) can I appreciate tiny enclosed spaces (like, for example, elevators). Yet I didn't have any choice, since I couldn't locate the stairwell (logically and in hindsight I know there must have been one).
Nevertheless architects seem to keep combining the two (see-through elevators for buildings over 2-3 floors high? Who the hell thought this up in the first place?), though I doubt I'm that special to be the only one to (thoroughly!) dislike the idea.
However, I did like the lines and angles…

הסיבות שהצילום הזה הינו כנגד כל הסיכויים הן ש(א) אני מאד לא אוהבת להסתכל מ- או להימצא בכלל בגובה כלשהו; ו(ב) אני גם לא יכולה להעריך במיוחד מקומות מזעריים וסגורים (כמו, למשל, מעליות). אך לא הייתה לי ברירה, היות ולא מצאתי את חדר המדרגות (אם כי במחשבה הגיונית שלאחר מעשה ברור לי כי אחד כזה חייב היה להיבנות).
ועדיין אדריכלים ממשיכים לשלב את השניים (מעליות שקופות בבניינים של יותר מ-2-3 קומות? מי לעזאזל חשב על זה מלכתחילה?), למרות שאני מאד מפקפקת בכך שאני כל כך מיוחדת עד כדי להיות היחידה ש(ממש!) לא מתלהבת מהרעיון.
ובכל זאת, אהבתי את הקווים והזוויות…
