אין לי מושג איזה אווז זה | I have no idea what goose this is
אף לא למה נדמה לי המלכותי מכולם | nor why it seems to me the most regal of all
אך ככולם – גם הם שומרים על האפרוחים | but like all, they too guard their young
(ונאמר כי יתכן שהללו אווזים אפורים | And I'm told these might be Greylag Geese)

Whenever Life feels too much to me, whatever the reason, I try to find time to walk to the park. Something there always manages to make me Smile. Like these geese.

וזה גם מה שחשבתי בעצמי, שזה אפור. אבל כשבדקתי גם ב-וויקי באנגלית, משהו שם בלבל אותי, כך שכבר לא הייתי בטוחה…
חוץ מזה, באיזשהו אתר ישראלי לציפורים כתבו שאווז אפור נדיר במחוזותינו ולא כך התרשמתי מהתצפיות שלי אותם פה בפארק.

l believe these are Greylag Geese.
I find time in the Park to be very good for the soul, too!
