L's 2018

Years ago, in the early days of the original 'Life's Moments' (elsewhere), I tried to bring to the blog the positive, smiley, useful, amusing, interesting. These still make the aim, with this renewed blog.
But Life cannot always be only positive, smiley, useful, amusing, or interesting. That was the reason I opened another blog (then and there), a secondary one, for all that is not mentioned above.
As a nickname I decided on L. The rest of my blogging way makes what I originally thought of this nick irrelevant now, not to mention that I no longer remember the reasons for it.

And in any case, with it I almost caused my personality to split!
Many more times than just the once (or twice) I found myself thinking whether this belongs here, and whether that belongs there. And I started grappling with terms like 'me' and 'her', which still is a part of me, though not always.
Recognizing the imminent split and the penny dropped: the L stands for Elle. Meaning – 'her' in French.
Which suited me just great.

Later I found that in Roman numerals L stands for 50. Which annoyed me a little, as it didn't match either my weight or age.
However towards this year I thought of doing something. Maybe looking for and snapping nice 50's on buildings and houses…
But plans aside, and like the famous song says – Life happened.

This year, 2018, was a pretty rough one for me, and almost from the beginning of it, for various causes and reasons, none of which related to it being my fiftieth year. And because of the difficulties I wrote a bit less (to my feeling), I snapped less photos. I was less.
Bottom line – I am really glad this year is finally over. And since some of the issues I had to deal with came to a good end, I can leave them behind.

But of all I did manage to photograph this year, I think I like one of the last ones best:

By the way, it's a different one from the one of the previous post.
And what I like about it most is the open horizon. Everything is possible. Especially ships full of good things, sailing "northward to the port"…
Though I found something in the symbolism as well, the obstacle course that Life can be sometimes.

Wishing everyone (and me) a happy 2019, a good year, full of joy, health, possibilities and creativity.

2018 של L

לפני שנים, בימיו הראשונים של 'רגעי חיים' המקורי (בתפוז), ניסיתי להביא אל הבלוג את החיובי, המחוייך, המועיל, המשעשע, המעניין. והללו עדיין מהווים יעד גם בבלוג המחודש הזה כאן.
אבל החיים לא יכולים להיות תמיד רק חיוביים, מחוייכים, מועילים, משעשעים, או מעניינים. לכן פתחתי (אז ושם) בלוג שני, משני, לכל מה שלא נזכר לעיל.
ככינוי הגעתי אל האות L. המשך דרכי הבלוגית הופך את מה שחשבתי מראש על הכינוי הזה ללא רלוונטי, מה גם שאני כבר לא זוכרת את הסיבות לו.

ובכל מקרה, בזה כמעט גרמתי לעצמי לפיצול אישיות!
היות ולא פעם (ואף לא פעמיים) מצאתי את עצמי חושבת באם הא מתאים לפה, ובאם דא מתאים לשם. וכך התחלתי לחשוב ולהתחבט בין מונחים של 'אני' ו'היא', אשר אמנם מהווה חלק ממני, אך לא תמיד.
עם קליטת הפיצול הממשמש ובא, נחת גם האסימון: ה-L מייצגת את Elle. כלומר – 'היא' בצרפתית.
וזה התאים לי בדיוק.

לימים גיליתי כי בספרוֹת רומיות, L מייצגת 50. טוב, זה קצת הרגיז אותי, היות וזה לא התאים, אם למשקל שלי או לגילי.
אבל לקראת השנה חשבתי לעשות משהו. אולי לחפש ולצלם 50'ים יפים על בתים ובניינים…
אבל תוכניות לחוד, וכמו בשיר המפורסם – החיים קרו.

השנה הזו, 2018, הייתה לי די קשה, ודי מתחילתה, ממגוון סיבות ובעיות, בלי שום קשר אל היות השנה הזו שנת היובל שלי. ובגלל הקשיים קצת כתבתי פחוֹת (לפחות לתחושתי), קצת צילמתי פחוֹת. הייתי פחוֹת.
ובשורה התחתונה – אני מאד שמחה לראות את השנה הזו נגמרת סוף-סוף. מה גם שחלק מהעניינים שהעסיקו אותי מצאו את פתרונם בטוב, ואפשר להשאירם מאחור.

אך מבֵּין מה שבכל-זאת הספקתי לצלם השנה, נדמה לי שמוצאת חן בעיניי יותר דווקא אחת מהתמונות האחרונות:

אגב, זו תמונה אחרת מזו שהעליתי בפוסט האחרון.
ומה שאני אוהבת בה בעיקר זה האופק הפתוח לכל. הכל אפשרי. במיוחד ספינות עמוסות בדברים טובים, שָׁטוֹת "צפונה לכיוון הנמל"…
אבל גם בסמליות מצאתי משהו, מסלול המכשולים, כפי שהחיים יכולים להיות לפעמים.

מאחלת לכולכם (כמו גם לעצמי) 2019 שמחה, טובה, מאושרת, שופעת בריאות, אפשרויות ויצירה.
