Unfortunately, it seems that in anything connected to this disease – there's more in it than meets the eye. Even if for the most simple reason – no one shows any sign, that can hint to the looker-on their last visit abroad.

Therefore, one cannot be too careful. In evidence – 1.2 km from me someone sick was found visiting a gym (to which I don't come close) following which she went to the supermarket (which, lately, I visit at least once a week).

Though the local health ministry has published and is updating a string of preventive measures, I want to add to it the Alco-Gel – hygienic waterless hand cleanser.
A simple low cost (comparatively) step, that can save one from quarantine at least (if not save one's life).

This week I bought a container of the sort, am carrying it with me everywhere and using the stuff when getting out of a bus/store/supermarket/post office/bank and the like.

Alcohol has forever been used as a disinfectant. A gel like this, for instance, can be found in each and every room at the public hospital my mom has been hospitalized in by the beginning of 2018. Adapting to the habit of using it when on the way out of the room, probably helped prevent the spread of disease and viruses.

There is no way to totally avoid the contact with other people. Whether you give cash to a cashier or other and accept the change, or you give and take back a credit card or the like. Even without a hand shake, there is always a human interaction in the most common and occasional places (everyone buys something or other, at whatever frequency). A gynecologist told me once that the human being cannot be sterile, and was right. We all come in contact with others, in ways we don't even think about.
Therefore I recommend the often use of an Alco-Gel (no matter the product, as long as it contains a high percentage of alcohol).

לצערי הרב, נדמה לי שבכל הקשור אל המחלה הזו – רב הנסתר על הגלוי. גם אם רק מהסיבה הפשוטה ביותר – על אף אחד לא יכול להופיע שום סימן גלוי, היכול לרמז למשקיף מהצד, על עובדת ביקורו האחרון בחו"ל.

אי לכך ובהתאם לזאת, אי אפשר להיזהר יותר מדי. ולראיה – 1.2 ק"מ ממני התגלתה חולה במחלה, שביקרה במכון כושר (אליו אני לא מתקרבת) ומשם עברה אל המרכול (בו, לאחרונה, אני מבקרת לפחות פעם בשבוע).

אמנם משרד הבריאות פרסם ומעדכן שורה של צעדי מנע, אבל אני רוצה להוסיף לזה את ה-אלכוג'ל – ג'ל לניקוי ידיים ללא מים.
צעד פשוט בעלות נמוכה (יחסית), שיכול להציל מבידוד לכל הפחות (אם לא להציל חיים).

השבוע קניתי מיכל ג'ל כזה ואני נושאת אותו איתי לכל מקום ומשתמשת בחומר בירידה מאוטובוס, ביציאה מחנות/סופר/דואר/בנק וכדומה.

אלכוהול שימש מאז ומתמיד לחיטוי. וג'ל כזה, למשל, נמצא בכל חדר בבית החולים הציבורי בו אימא שלי אושפזה בתחילת 2018. פיתוח ההרגל להשתמש בו בכל יציאה מחדר האישפוז, כנראה מנע הפצת מחלות ונגיפים.

אין שום דרך להימנע לגמרי מקשר עם אנשים אחרים. בין אם נותנים מזומנים לקופאי כזה או אחר, ומקבלים עודף, ובין אם מוסרים ומקבלים חזרה כרטיס אשראי. גם ללא לחיצת יד, תמיד יש אינטראקציה אנושית במקומות הכי מקובלים ומזדמנים (כל אחד קונה משהו כזה או אחר, בתדירות כלשהי). רופא נשים אמר לי פעם שהאדם לא יכול להיות סטרילי, ובצדק. כולנו באים במגע עם אחרים, בדרכים עליהן אנחנו כלל לא חושבים.
לכן אני ממליצה על השימוש התדיר באלכוג'ל (ולא משנה מאיזו תוצרת, כל עוד זה מכיל אחוז גבוה של אלכוהול).
