הבניין המוזר | The Weird Building

Walking along a street interests me a little less than a walk in the park, seeing as the street is mostly business-like. One has to go from here the there, for a certain purpose, and come back. Along the way, one has to be careful crossing streets and of other dangers.
A walk in the park can be full of interest (animal, plant, inanimate) and one does not have to be too careful.

And yet, even a street can interest (me). Like in the case of the weirdest building I know:

הליכת רחוב מעניינת אותי מעט פחות מההליכה בפארק, היות והרחוב ענייני בעיקר. יש להגיע מפה לשם, לצורך כזה או אחר, ולחזור. על הדרך, יש גם להיזהר בחציית כבישים ומעוד סכנות.
הליכה בפארק יכולה להיות מוצפת עניין (חי, צומח, דומם) ולא חייבים להיזהר מדי.

ובכל-זאת, גם הרחוב יכול לעניין (אותי). כמו במקרה של הבניין המוזר ביותר שאני מכירה:

I still have not managed to understand whether the building of this edifice has finished, or not?

עוד לא הצלחתי להבין אם הבנייה של הבניין הזה הסתיימה, או שלא?

Though it might be that the (seemingly endless) building in the front has to do with another thing altogether. However, as long as this one goes, here's another angle:

אם כי יתכן כי הבנייה (הנצחית, כפי הנדמה) בחזית קשורה למבנה לגמרי אחר. אך כל עוד עסקינן במבנה הקיים, מזווית אחרת:

Of course, here too there is room for regret. In my own opinion, any human being is prone to think there is plenty of time. And if one has not yet done something (like, in this instance – I haven't got to the other side of this building, and/or even found out how to get there), it is not too bad. There's always the next time.
Until suddenly the order was issued way back when (a few weeks ago), that we can't leave our immediate surroundings. And thus severed in one fell swoop all the next times, till further notice…

כמובן, גם כאן יש מקום לחרטה. לדעתי, כל בן-אנוש תמיד חושב שיש זמן בשפע. ואם לא הספקנו משהו (כמו במקרה הזה – עוד לא הצלחתי להגיע אל צדו השני של הבניין, ו/או לגלות איך בכלל מגיעים לשם), לא נורא. בפעם הבאה.
עד שלפתע יצאה ההודעה אי-אז (לפני שבועות ספורים), שאין יותר להתרחק ממקומנו המיידי. ובכך קטעה בחטף את כל הפעמים הבאות, עד להודעה חדשה…
