And what a weird year it has been?
Seems to me that many would agree this was the craziest year ever, that could not have been even imagined before it occurred. Enmity and upheaval, the pandemic and its' disasters, lockdowns and the vaccine that is already here (not to mention positive developments in the Mid East).
And yet, the blog goes on…
Ever since I started uploading photos to the blog I also adopted the habit to choose one of every year as the photo of that year. And this time I chose this one of January 31st:
Not only this seems to me the best photo I ever took, but as I have already said: what I (still) like most is the glow of the raindrops, that remain after the rain has stopped. Also the little blue patch (up and to the right), that symbolizes the hope for clearance.
This year has been just like this: cloudy in many ways. Among which – I remember the multitudes (not just the over three thousands in these parts, but also throughout the rest of the world, over a million and a half!) that found their death in the pandemic, and feel for their families.
But to those of us that are still here, this year ends with some positive hope for the future.
Wishing a much better 2021 to all
