The other day I happened upon a public garden I no longer visit. This time I had a reason to pass through to another exit. Of a sudden I caught something new to me:

באחד האתמולים הזדמנתי אל גן ציבורי בו אני כבר לא מבקרת. הפעם הייתה לי סיבה לעבור בו אל יציאה אחרת. ולפתע קלטתי משהו חדש לי:

A mural sprang up there in my absence. And made me wonder – does he intend to help her down, or does she intend to help him up?

ציור קיר צץ שם בהיעדרי. וגרם לי לתהות – האם הבחור מתכוון לעזור לה לרדת, או שהבחורה מתכוונת לעזור לו לעלות?

לא הצלחתי להתאפק 4 Couldn't Help It

I was planning to post just the trilogy. But each time I pass between these walls (of a pass under a busy street), I find something new. Thus I'm posting the forth part (and the last. For now).
Including the correction of the wall from my previous posting:

תכננתי להעלות רק טרילוגיה. אבל בכל פעם שאני עוברת בין הקירות הללו (משני צדי מעבר להולכי רגל, מתחת לכביש עמוס למדי), אני מגלה משהו חדש. על כן נולד הפרק הרביעי (והאחרון. בינתיים).

סדר וניקיון 3 Order and Cleanliness

Not to everyone this is important. But there are those that order and cleanliness stand at the top of all. Like in the case of these walls. Normally these are white. Kids always seem to pass through and scribble. Each time someone repaints in white. Restores order and cleanliness. Although, the last month or two several people (more talented kids?) covered the walls in drawings.
I took photos of what seemed to me worthy of documenting, before the repainter comes back. Of that which surprised me, the idea that I liked, and also…

לא לכולם זה חשוב. אבל יש כאלו, שסדר וניקיון עומדים בראש מעייניהם. כמו למשל, במקרה של הקירות הללו. לרוב אלו לבנים. נדמה כי תמיד ילדים עוברים שם ומקשקשים. ובכל פעם, מישהו צובע בלבן מחדש. משחזר סדר וניקיון. אם כי בחודש-חודשיים האחרונים מספר בני-אדם (ילדים מוכשרים יותר?) כיסו את הקירות בציורים.

ללכת וללכת | Walking And Walking

With the easing of the restrictions I was happy today to walk and walk. I went (on foot) all the way to the city center and visited the sculpture of one of the best local poets. I never went too close to it, which is why I didn't realize the man looks so nice in his sculpture – I was very happy to find that out.

עם ההקלות במגבלות שמחתי היום ללכת וללכת (למרות שזה משיר אחר בכלל). הלכתי עד אל מרכז העיר, וביקרתי את פסל ביאליק. אף פעם לא התקרבתי אליו מדי, כך שלא ידעתי כמה האיש נראה נחמד בפסלו – ממש שמחתי לגלות.

וייפתח הסגור | Let the Closed Be Open

I have no idea when my home town started getting covered with different statues, as in between the late 80's, when I moved to greener pastures, and 2017 – time when I started touring it as a tourist, a few decades passed…
Nevertheless, I did tour it as a tourist. And in April 2017 I found this statue:

אין לי מושג מתי עיר ילדותי החלה להתכסות בפסלים שונים, היות ובין שלהי שנות ה-80', כאשר עברתי ממנה אל מחוזות זרים, לבין 2017 – זמן בו התחלתי לטייל בה כתיירת, חלפו-עברו אי-אילו עשורים…
אם כי אכן התחלתי לטייל בה כתיירת. ובאפריל 2017 מצאתי בה את זה הפסל:

I continued touring during 2018. And by the end of that year (more then a year and a half from the first photo), I came by the same place, that totally changed:

המשכתי לטייל בה גם לאורך 2018. ובסוף אותה שנה (יותר משנה וחצי מהתמונה הראשונה), הגעתי אל אותו מקום, אשר לגמרי השתנה:

When I think of 'Open', I remember this area.
