Drama
לעברית, קליק פה.
Drama, simply put, is more interesting than still waters.
True it is that we all need to be still waters sometimes, and that too is pretty simple – in order to rest. However, most of us either read and/or watch (mostly, in my opinion) some kind of drama. Whether Action (book or movie), or cerebral (court-room drama?), or spiritual (well, you tell me which genre fits here).
Even in the Fantasy realm there has to be drama. Otherwise the story would be boring.
I'll admit freely that in the greenery world I haven't met with drama yet. Plants are watered, they absorb the sun and grow. What else is new?
And then I passed this bush, and I had to document:

P.S. There has to be said a word or two in favor of the sun, that plays a considerable part here…
דרמה
דרמה, בפשטות, יותר מעניינת ממי מנוחות.
נכון, כולנו זקוקים למי מנוחות מדי פעם, וגם זה די בפשטות – כדי לנוח. אבל-ברם-אולם רובנו קוראים, ו/או צופים (בעיקר, לדעתי) באיזושהי דרמה. אם פעלתנית/גופנית (סרטי/ספרי פעולה), אם מושכלת (דרמה משפטית?) ואם רוחנית (ובכן, תגידו לי אתם איזו סוגה מתאימה פה).
גם בממלכת הפנטזיה חייבת להיות דרמה. אחרת הסיפור ישעמם.
אודה ולא אבוש כי דווקא בממלכת הצומח טרם הזדמן לי להיתקל בדרמה. צמחים מושקים, סופגים את השמש וצומחים. ומה חדש בזה?
אבל לפתע עברתי ליד השיח הזה, והייתי חייבת לתעד:
האין זה דרמתי?

כִּמעַט | Almost
In Luck and its' Lack I lamented a missed photo… well, I almost (!) got it (met the Night Heron again up close and personal) but this time the tassel on its' head wasn't to be seen…
ב-'מזל והיעדרו' קיטרתי על החמצת תמונה… ובכן, כמעט (!) השגתי אותה (פגשתי שוב את אנפת הלילה מאד מקרוב) אך הפעם לא נראתה ציצת ראשה…
This next photo of it isn't that bad… yet still no tassel (and with a rather annoying Flash that flashes on its own, even when there's no need).
וגם הצילום הנוסף שלה לא נורא… אם כי עדיין ללא ציצה (ועם מבזק מעצבן, הפועל על דעת עצמו, גם כאשר אין בו צורך).
During this walk in the Park I sighted (for the second time in my life) the Cormorants, that came back for the winter (as my leaflet says).
Well, I almost (!) managed to snap a shot of them, but they were much too quick to dive. I was left with the wish/hope that one of these days I'll be as quick with the shutter (they're so sweet with their beaks up, in a pair at both sightings, and diving in unison. Like synchronized swimming).
Although speed didn't help me get close enough (almost! clear photos), and/or identify this next bird… (almost familiar, yet no).
תוך סיבוב זה בפארק, קלטתי (לָשנייה בחיי) את הקורמורנים החוזרים לחרוף (כך על פי העלון שלי).
ובכן, כמעט (!) הצלחתי לצלם אותם, אך הללו היו מהירים לצלול. נותרתי עם השאיפה/תקווה להיות, באחד הימים, מהירה כמוהם עם הצמצם (חמודים כל כך עם מקור נישא מעלה, בזוג בשתי הפעמים בהם ראיתי אותם, וצוללים יחד. כמו שחיה מתואמת).
אם כי מהירות לא עזרה לי להתקרב מספיק (כמעט! צילומים ברורים), ו/או לזהות את הציפור הבאה… (כמעט מוכרת, אבל לא).
It doesn't really show well in these photos but the colors are speckled. All who can identify it – well done! (and I'll be happy if you share).
לא כל כך רואים בתמונות הללו, אך צבעיה די מנומרים. כל המצליח לזהות – כל הכבוד! (ואשמח לשיתוף).

P.S. I was just told that the speckled bird is a younger Night Heron.
Delicate Grace
Delicate grace was what I thought when I first saw both these Winged guys…
חן מעודן היה מה שחשבתי ברגע שראיתי את שני המכונפים הללו…
On the other hand, they don't exactly pause long enough to pose…
מצד שני, הללו לא בדיוק עומדים די זמן במקומם לצילום…
And the Grey Heron? Only here for the winter…

I know I already posted a photo of a Little Egret (here), but I liked this one better (the above. How delicate…). And the one who got away (below, with the yellow hint of its' feet).
אני יודעת שכבר העליתי תמונה של לבנית קטנה (כאן), אך אהבתי יותר את זו (לעיל. איזו עדינה, לא?). וגם את האחת שברחה (להלן, עם רמז צהוב-כפותיה).
