Discover Prompts – Light
When I first came to look at this apartment, I met one of the neighbors. You should move in, she told me. It is a very quiet street. All day long you'll hear nothing but birdsong…
And it is true, there's a lot of tweets, caws, calls, shrieks and chat. Indeed.
But the noise? That just seems to be increasing.
That's how I opened a blog posting towards the end of 2018, which really was a very noisy year. And the noise slipped through to the beginning of 2019. There still are too many building sites around (one of them new), that keep the noise level up, even during Corona days.
However, around four-four-thirty before dawn, when all is silent, desisted and quiet, the bird-choir starts to wake up. And greet the new day even before it takes shape.
This choir calls, shrieks, chats and even sings well after sunrise.
Unfortunately, I am awake at these hours, through no fault of my own (seeing as there are neighbors who insist on waking me up at the most damnable hours). Fortunately, I am awake at these hours (and enjoying each time anew the welcome the new days is getting).
But as for photos, I don't have many (clear) ones of songbirds. Mainly of those that knock (after all rhythm is also necessary), the cawing and the shrieking kinds…
And it is also true that these days, when going out is restricted, I am very happy to have a window into nature

One of the photos I took in a far away street, in a different city, the other – in the public garden behind the building, and the rest out of the said window, including the top one.
כאשר רק הגעתי לראשונה לראות את הדירה הזו, הזדמן לי לפגוש אחת מהשכנות. כדאי לך לעבור לפה, אמרה לי. זה רחוב שקט מאד. כל היום שומעים רק ציוץ של ציפורים…
נכון, יש המון ציוצים של ציפורים, וקריאות ושריקות ופטפוטים. בהחלט.
אבל הרעש? זה רק נדמה כמתגבר.
כך פתחתי את אחד הפוסטים לקראת סוף שנת 2018, שאכן הייתה שנה מאד רועשת. והרעש העצום זלג אל תחילת 2019. עדיין יש בסביבה יותר מדי אתרי בניה (אחד מהם חדש), שממשיכים להרעיש, אפילו בימי קורונה.
אבל-ברם-אולם, בסביבות ארבע-ארבע-וחצי לפנות בוקר, כאשר הכל בסביבה שותק, שובת ושקט, מתחילה מקהלת-הציפורים להתעורר. ולקבל את פני היום החדש, עוד בטרם התהווה. המקהלה הזו קוראת, שורקת, מפטפטת ואפילו מזמרת עד אחרי הזריחה.
לצערי הרב, אני ערה בשעות האלה על לא עוול בכפי (היות ויש מי מהשכנים שמתעקשים להעיר אותי בשעות ארורות למדי). לשמחתי הרבה, אני ערה בשעות האלה (ונהנית בכל פעם מחדש מקבלת הפנים לה זוכה היום החדש).
אבל בכל הנוגע לצילום, אין לי הרבה תמונות (ברורות) של ציפורי שיר דווקא. אלא בעיקר של, הנוֹקשוֹת (כי גם המקצב נחוץ) הקוראות והצורמות…
ואכן, בימי מגבלות היציאה מהבית, אני מאד שמחה שיש לי חלון אל הטבע

Nothing is worth celebrating more than the undefinable and illusive feeling of all – Love:
the greatest motivator and the best force, that comprehends acceptance, respect and consideration of another.
Usually understood as romance a deux, one can very easily extend it to include mankind and the entire world, if one but lets it mean that.
At the birth of a new weekend-day, clean and serene yet full of possibilities, these two could be seen as dancing the dawn to life…
