אלא כשסיימו לחצות | only when they were there

The other one seemed a chicken. The first, I'm not clear about. Because of the shock, during the first few seconds, when the two were on the road, I just stood and stared. When I whipped the camera out, a boy arrived. We snapped shots and wondered together. Is it a turkey? (and I still don't know. I didn't find this one exactly on-line. It had a uni-corn, even if it is not so clear in the photos. If you know what it is, tell me, please. Adding now that I was told this is a Wild Turkey. Thanks!).
Anyway, for the first time in my life I met such a lovely odd pair… that I had to post to the blog.

השנייה נראתה תרנגולת. לא ברור לי מה הראשון. מרוב הלם, בשניות הראשונות, כאשר הצמד עוד היה על הכביש, רק עצרתי כדי לבהות. עד ששלפתי את המצלמה והתחלתי להקליק, הגיע נער. הקלקנו ותהינו יחד. שמא זה תרנגול הודו? (ואני עדיין לא יודעת. לא מצאתי בדיוק כזה ברשת. יש לזה חד-קרן, גם אם הצילום לא לגמרי ברור. מי שיודע מה זה, אנא, גלו גם לי. ואוסיף עכשיו כי אכן נאמר לי שזה תרנגול הודו פראי. תודה!).
ובכן, לראשונה בחיי פגשתי צמד-חמד כל כך מוזר… עד שהייתי חייבת להעלות אל הבלוג.
